1. What ChinaEAConnect Is

ChinaEAConnect is a platform that connects suppliers based in China with buyers in Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, and South Sudan. We provide the platform for listing products, browsing, and communicating — we are not a party to any transaction, sale, or shipment agreed between a buyer and a supplier.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating a supplier or buyer account. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Supplier Listings and Verification

New supplier accounts are reviewed before their products appear publicly. Verification is a basic check intended to reduce spam and fraudulent listings — it is not a guarantee of product quality, business legitimacy, or fitness for any particular purpose. Buyers should exercise their own judgment before entering into any agreement with a supplier.

4. Transactions Between Buyers and Suppliers

Any agreement on price, quantity, delivery, payment, or shipping is made directly between the buyer and the supplier. ChinaEAConnect does not process payments, arrange shipping, or guarantee the outcome of any transaction, and is not liable for disputes, losses, delays, or damages arising from a transaction between users.

5. Acceptable Use

• Do not list counterfeit, illegal, or prohibited goods.
• Do not use the platform to harass, defraud, or mislead other users.
• Do not attempt to circumvent the platform's verification or security measures.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any account that violates these terms.

6. What Data We Collect

We collect the information you provide directly: your name, business name, email, phone number, country, and any messages or inquiries you send through the platform.

7. How We Use Your Data

• To operate your account and display your listings (for suppliers) or facilitate your inquiries (for buyers)
• To send you email notifications related to your account activity (e.g. new inquiries)
• To review and approve new supplier accounts

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

8. Data Sharing

Your business name, contact details, and product listings (for suppliers) are visible to other users of the platform as part of its normal function — this is necessary for buyers and suppliers to connect. We use third-party service providers (such as our hosting and email delivery providers) to operate the platform; these providers process data only as needed to provide their service to us.

9. Limitation of Liability

ChinaEAConnect is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the reliability of any user, or the outcome of any transaction. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChinaEAConnect is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
